Job Description:

Summary: Works under general supervision of the Project Manager or Site Supervisor as a field representative servicing, testing, and inspecting sprinkler systems. Primary duties will include a variety of technical and administrative functions related to direct support of the assigned site’s(s’) sprinkler testing and inspection contract obligations to ensure the efficiency of sprinkler service tasks and overall smooth running of the sprinkler system duties delegated by the Project Manager. This position will be required to comply with standards as required by the National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) and company, state and federal requirements.

Job Duties and Functions:

  • Inspect and test sprinkler systems in compliance with company policy, contract, state, and federal law.

  • Serve as first point of contact with internal and external customers as it relates to sprinkler service calls and scheduling with applicable authorities.

  • Review bids for quality control purposes and recommend requirements to the management of Evergreen Fire and Security.

  • Report sprinkler system deficiencies timely and effectively to prevent additional repairs.

  • Schedule appointments, including service work orders, to ensure customer needs are met and the program goals are appropriately satisfied.

  • Provide customer training as required.

  • Perform on call duties as outlined and as required by contract obligations and management.

  • Expedite and ensure accuracy with all sprinkler testing and inspection correspondence, work orders, and other associated paperwork.

  • Carry out administrative duties as needed to perform projects to completion.

  • Assist in fire alarm service calls as assigned by supervisor.

  • Carry out all other duties as assigned within your qualifications.

Experience and Skills:



  • Must have a High School Diploma or equivalent with 2+ years’ experience in sprinkler testing and inspection.

  • Must have knowledge of wet, dry, and pre-action sprinkler systems.

  • Must have NICET Level II certification in Inspection & Testing of Water-Based Systems

  • Familiarity and experience working on military bases preferred.

  • Must be available to travel as needed


  • Must be able to pass both pre-employment and continuing background, drug and MVR screenings

  • Must possess DOD security Clearance
